Lunch at Poppies Martinborough

Tasting wines in the environment they are created can be an incredibly mesmerising experience be it not the true intention of what wine is about. Loving wine in all its glory is the combination of food and conversation, for us the true expression and traditional essence of wine as this combination is simply inseparable.

The flavours of food can heighten and enhance wine beyond imagination so from this we create an assortment of fresh beautiful flavours served as a seasonal vineyard platter.

Flavours you may experience as the season allows, crispy salted pork belly with pickled veg and kiwi fruit jam, salmon smoked or cured, marinated charred beef, Spanish tortilla, balsamic garlic mushrooms, beetroot hummus, Indian relish, olive tapenade, coconut turmeric parsnip, subtle cheese, star anise, grilled carrot with honey mustard, and a few more to surprise.

Poppies Martinborough is not a traditional restaurant so we don’t offer a menu as such. Vineyard platters are $48 for 2 people with artisan bread also available at $2 per portion. To follow we also offer a couple of sweet treats and cheeses.

Dietary requirements are an important part of modern life; we are GF, Vegetarian and Vegan friendly. The crew will ask for dietary requirements on ordering
